KANNUR: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin said that Pinarayi Vijayan is a unique Chief Minister that India has seen. He is the face of secularism. Speaking at CPM party congress seminar, Stalin said that Pinarayi was his guide in governance.

"I am very excited to be attending this seminar. My name is proof of my connection with the Communist Party. I'm one of you," said Stalin. He sharply criticised the central government and BJP leaders. Amit Shah is trying to implement a policy that even the British did not implement. "The BJP is trying to unite the country by subverting its diversity," he said.

The interests of the states must be protected to protect the country. The framers of the Constitution did not stand for unity. Stalin said the centre was misusing the governors to control state governments and that this was undemocratic. He also said that the central government was upsetting the states with the GST as well.
