KOCHI: The investigation team is under the assessment that the eighth accused actor Dileep and his wife Kavya Madhavan have an equal role in actress assault case. So they are collecting evidences without any loopholes. The Crime Branch hopes that by questioning Kavya, many unsolved questions will be answered and also expects to question Dileep again based on Kavya's statements. According to the Crime Branch, Dileep and Kavya were equally hostile to the actress. Evidence of this can be seen in the sound samples recovered from Suraj's phone. The reference to 'woman' in Dileep's audio recording also points to Kavya. Kavya will be questioned tomorrow to clarify whether she had any prior knowledge about the incident.

The Crime Branch has given Kavya a chance to decide the place of venue of questioning. It is learned that Kavya is in Chennai and will return today. According to Crime Branch sources, Balachandra Kumar will also be questioned along with her.
