KOCHI: The Crime Branch has said that Dileep's first wife Manju Warrier has identified the voices of actor Dileep and his relatives in the audio recordings related to the murder conspiracy case. This includes audio recordings released the previous day.

Earlier, Dileep had admitted that some of the audio recordings were his own. But argued that the most important were mimicry. During the interrogation with Dileep, director Balachandra Kumar had said that the sound recorded on the tab was genuine and not fake.

On February 8, Dileep, his sister-in-law Suraj and brother Anoop were taken to the Chithranjali studio, Kakkanad to collect sound samples. The probe team will get the results next week.

The 'Mirror Image' report from a private lab in Mumbai provided crucial evidence, including audio recordings, in the actress assault case. The details of four phones that Dileep had sent to Lab Systems Pvt Ltd in Mumbai to hide the evidence in the conspiracy case were recovered from the hard disk here. Crime Branch sources said a detailed investigation is underway. The Crime Branch has started proceedings to recover the iMac laptop, iPad and phones seized by the lawyers from Sai Shankar, the seventh accused in the case.
