THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Heavy rains are likely to continue for five more days in the state. The central meteorological department has forecasted isolated rains, thundershowers and winds with a speed of up to 40 kilometre per hour in all districts of Kerala. The rainfall is likely to continue for five more days.

Yellow alert was declared in the districts of Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Ernakulam and Idukki, on Saturday. People should remain cautious as thundershowers and winds are likely in the state.
