Two new centres to learn e-vehicle mechanics will be set up in the state in collaboration with leading electric vehicle manufacturers such as MG Motors, Hero Electric and Olectra Greentech. The centres will be set up at ASAP centers at Thavanur in Malappuram and Kunnamthanam in Pathanamthitta.

This is the first such course and centre in the country to specialize in hybrid and electric vehicles. ASAP Kerala and the Innovative Engineers Society have signed a memorandum of understanding for this.
