KOTTAYAM: A woman was stabbed in the neck by her husband. The incident took place in Paika Mallikassery in Kottayam. 42-year-old Sini was attacked by her 48-year-old husband Binoy Joseph.

Sini, who was severely injured in the attack, was admitted to a private hospital. The initial conclusion is that suspicion had led to the attack.

The accused had stabbed his wife in the neck at their bedroom by around 10:30 pm, last day. At the time, their children were sleeping in another room. Binoy was taken into custody by the Ponkunnam police. He is mentally disturbed, said the police.
