KOCHI: Dileep's wife and actress Kavya Madhavan will not appear for questioning tomorrow in connection with the actress assault case. Kavya has expressed to the investigating officials her inconvenience to appear for questioning tomorrow.

Kavya Madhavan informed the officials that she was ready to undergo questioning at home on Wednesday at 2 pm. The crime branch had earlier decided to question Kavya along with director Balachandra Kumar tomorrow.

The further investigation team believe that Dileep, the eighth accused, and his wife Kavya Madhavan were equally involved in the actress assault case. The officials are hoping that by questioning Kavya, several mysterious questions will be answered. As of now, no ample evidence has been gathered to name Kavya an accused in the case.
