SHANGHAI: The Covid situation is once again severe in China. The largest Chinese city of Shanghai remains isolated. Stringent restrictions have been imposed in the city. In addition to lockdowns, there are restrictions on family members’ interactions with one another as well. A video of a health worker, brutally killing a pet dog after the owner of the house became infected, has surfaced. The video shows how cruelly poor animals are treated in China. There has been a huge increase in Covid cases in Shanghai, China’s financial capital. The city has a total population of 26 million. The government has declared a zero Covid policy here. Around 25,000 Covid cases were reported in the city on Sunday.
