KANNUR: CPM state secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan has alleged that the Co-Le-B alliance has come to the fore to oppose the SilverLine. He added that the government will be with those who lose their land due to the K-Rail project and that the misconceptions about the project will be corrected. Balakrishnan was speaking at the concluding session of the CPM Party Congress.

"The feeling of the people is that this party will be there for them. More than 700 comrades were killed in Kerala. But Kannur has proved that this party cannot be intimidated. Kerala has a strong-willed government. It was seen during the Covid period. If the Pinarayi Vijayan government says something, it will be done. Some said the national highway development would not take place. What happened next?. The CPM is united. The party congress does not have two groups. The media said that there are two groups in CPM-one in Bengal and the other in Kerala. The party congress has proved that the CPM is one group", Kodiyeri Balakrishnan said.
