MUMBAI: Raj Thackeray continues to provoke Shiv Sena led by Uddhav Thackeray. Four workers of Raj Thackeray's party Maharashtra Navnirman Sena played the Hanuman Chalisa on a loudspeaker outside Shiv Sena Bhawan in Mumbai on Sunday. The police have seized their vehicle and arrested them.

MNS provoked Shiv Sena by naming a rented taxi 'Sri Ram Radh' and attaching a loudspeaker to it. However, Minister Aditya Thackeray said that Raj was only trying to revive the party which was destroyed. Aditya Thackeray is the son of Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and the nephew of Raj Thackeray. Aditya also said that they will fulfill their duty to the people.

This happened about a week after MNS chief Raj Thackeray asked the Maharashtra government to remove loudspeakers from mosques. He warned that if the loudspeakers were not removed, the Hanuman Chalisa would be played outside mosques at a louder volume than the azan. Doubts have been raised in some quarters as to whether this was the first step after the warning.
