KOCHI: A youth was found dead in the premises of Kumbalam panchayat office. He has been identified as Renjith, son of vadival Unni, a goonda of the area. It is suspected to be a murder.

It is suspected that the body may have been dumped there after the murder. The locals saw a person lying under a building under construction near the panchayat office this morning.

It was initially thought that he may have fallen from top of the building. However, suspicion of murder was raised seeing the bruises on his face. Police have launched an investigation into the incident.
