PALAKKAD: A case has been registered against a man for making his six-year-old son attend a mud racing training along with seniors. The Palakkad Town South Police registered a case against Shanavas Abdullah of Kattoor in Thrissur. The visuals of the boy leaping on his small bike in a dangerous manner along with the seniors had gone viral on the social media.

The boy’s father and relatives said the boy was trained in a toy bike. However, the police said the case was registered for training the boy in a dangerous manner when the seniors were trained in over speeded expensive bikes.

The training was held as part of the mud racing competition to be held on April 16 and 17 at Kadangode. Police said a case would be registered against the organisers Indira Priyadarshini Motor Sports in Kadangode. Police said the organisers organised the programme without getting permission for the competition and training. With this, the competition to be held next week is uncertain.
