Paramekkavu Devaswom has thanked Suresh Gopi for getting permission to hold fireworks display for the Thrissur Pooram. The actor has shared the Devaswom’s note thanking him, on Facebook. ‘Thank you for your love. I will do whatever I can for Thrissur again’, said former MP Suresh Gopi.

There were some issues regarding the permission to hold fireworks display for Thrissur Pooram. Suresh Gopi’s immediate intervention made it all easy. The permission has been granted by the centre’s petroleum safety agency (Petroleum and Explosives Safety Organization).

Suresh Gopi had earlier assured that Thrissur would be able to celebrate Pooram in its full grandeur this year. ‘There is no politics in it. This is the rise of the BJP government’, he had then said. The actor had intervened in the matter as requested by the Paramekkavu Devaswom.
