KOCHI: Kavya Madhavan will not be grilled today in the actor assault case. A notice was issued earlier asking her to appear for interrogation at 2 pm today. The crime branch has decided not to question her at her house Padma Sarovaram in Aluva. Further proceedings will be decided after discussions.

Dileep’s brother Anoop and brother-in-law Suraj were summoned for interrogation but their lawyers informed that they could not appear today as they are not in station. The crime branch had stuck notices at their houses asking them to appear for the interrogation.

Kavya, who was in Chennai, reached Aluva last night for the interrogation. They want to question her by showing some video footages and making her hear some conversations using a projector. The crime branch reviewed that Padma Sarovaram is not a suitable place for this.

The crime branch had also decided to grill director Balachandra Kumar and Kavya together. However, he had informed his inconvenience to reach Padma Sarovaram.
