THRISSUR: A youth who was arrested in a POCSO case by the police committed suicide in Chamakkala. Kodungallur native Sahad (26) was found hanging inside his room on Wednesday.

Sahad committed suicide after putting a Facebook post in which he claimed innocence. Sahad was arrested in a POCSO case in December last year. He was released on bail recently.

In his Facebook post, Sahad claimed that he was brutally tortured by the child who lodged a complaint against him.
