THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: KSEB Chairman Dr B Ashok has mocked the protestors. ‘The protestors will just stand in the sun and rain, he said. Currently, there are no problems in the KSEB. The management’s language is that of consensus and mutual respect, he pointed out.The Officers' Association is of the view that the problems are due to the chairman's authoritarian tendencies. We will continue the protests till the transfer order is withdrawn, they said.

The chairman had entrusted a finance director for the discussion last day, after preparing the leaders’ transfer order a day earlier. Even though the suspension was withdrawn after the discussion, transfer orders were also issued.

State office bearer Jasmine Banu has been transferred to Seethathodu. State president M G Suresh Kumar was transferred from the Vydyuthi Bhavan to Perinthalmanna. The chairman’s unexpected move came in as a major setback for the Officers' Association, who went in on an indefinite strike in front of the Vydyuthi Bhavan.
