SRINAGAR: Security forces have killed four Lashkar-e-Taiba militants in an encounter in Jammu and Kashmir. The encounter took place in the Zainapora area in the Shopian district.

The security forces arrived on the basis of intelligence that the terrorists were hiding in the Shopian area. As the troops surrounded the area, the terrorists opened fire on the troops. Security forces are searching the area on suspicion that more terrorists are hiding.
