WASHINTON: Billionaire Elon Musk has offered to buy social media platform Twitter for $ 43 billion. Musk has offered to pay $54.20 per share in cash. Musk has written a letter to Twitter Board Chairman Brett Taylor in this regard.

"My offer is my best and final offer and if it is not accepted, I would need to reconsider my position as a shareholder. Twitter has extraordinary potential. I will unlock it," Musk added in the letter. Musk also stated that Twitter's service was unsatisfactory and needs to grow into a better private company.
