THRISSUR: The K-Swift bus which caused an accident at Kunnamkulam was taken into custody and the driver was questioned by police. The bus was taken into police custody following the incident where a man was killed in a road accident in Kunnamkulam. Paraswamy, a native of Kallakurichi, Tamil Nadu, died in the accident.

The bus was traveling from Thrissur to Kozhikode when it met with an accident in Malaya junction in Kunnamkulam at 5.30 am. Paraswamy, a native of Tamil Nadu, was hit by the bus while crossing the road to buy tea from a nearby shop. He was first hit by a pickup van and then the K-Swift bus went over his body. Attempts were made to rush him to the hospital but he died on the way.

The first reports were that Paraswamy was killed after the K-Swift bus hit him. However, CCTV footage showed the K-Swift bus going over his body 30 seconds after the pickup van hit him.
