THRISSUR: Police have arrested two drivers in connection with the Kunnamkulam accident. The arrested have been identified as pickup van driver Sainudeen and K-Swift driver Vinod. The action was taken in the incident where a person was killed in a road accident in Kunnamkulam.

Tamil Nadu Kallakurichi native Paraswamy was killed in the accident. Police had earlier taken the K-Swift bus into custody. The K-Swift bus was travelling from Thrissur to Kozhikode when it met with an accident in Malaya junction in Kunnamkulam at 5.30 am. Paraswamy was hit by the bus while crossing the road to buy tea from a nearby shop.

Paraswamy was first hit by a pickup van and then the K-Swift bus went over his body. Attempts were made to rush him to the hospital but he died on the way.
