PALAKKAD: The police said that the car which hit Popular Front local leader Kuthiyathodu native Subair belonged to the slain RSS activist Sanjith who was killed in a similar manner. KL11AR641 is the number of the car which hit Subair. The vehicle was taken into police custody and is being examined.

There were five attackers including the driver of the vehicle. After hitting Subair's bike, four men got out of the car and attacked him. His father got injured after falling off the bike. The incident took place at around 1.30 pm. The gang killed Subair in front of his father.

The attackers arrived in two cars. The car with number KL11AR641 hit Subair and was left at the crime scene. The attackers escaped in another car after the incident. Subair, who was critically injured, was taken by auto to a nearby hospital. He died on the way to the district hospital. The SDPI alleges that the RSS was behind the murder.
