THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Opposition leader V D Satheesan has come out in harsh criticism of the state government in the backdrop of the murder of the Popular Front activist at Elappully in Palakkad. Communal powers are unleashing violence in Kerala, Satheesan said. Murders are constantly taking place in the name of communalism. The chief minister, who is also in charge of the home affairs, has forgotten to govern the state, he alleged through a Facebook post.
The chief minister is carrying out communal appeasement in the name of social engineering. Therefore, the government is unable to take strong action against the communal powers and assailants, Satheesan said.
