THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The KSRTC Employees Union has blamed the inexperience of the employees hired on contract basis for the continuous accidents of K-Swift buses. The union leaders also asked why KSRTC employees were not appointed on deputation to replace the inexperienced contract employees.
The union representatives demanded that the management be held responsible for the current crisis in K-Swift and demanded an investigation into the ongoing accidents. The union leaders stated that the employees will not get salary at the right time by changing the MD, for that the management must change its policy. The leaders also alleged that the KSRTC management had failed to implement the restructuring plan announced by the government.
Meanwhile, a K-Swift bus met with another accident at Thamarassery pass. The Sultan Bathery-Thiruvananthapuram deluxe air bus crashed into the side wall at the eighth bend of the pass.Thiruvananthapuram-Mananthavady K-Swift bus also met with an accident at the sixth bend of the Thamarassery pass yesterday.
