THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: CITU has come out in harsh criticism against KSEB chairman B Ashok. ‘I know how to respond by barging into the chairman’s house, no matter how secure it is’, said CITU state committee member V K Madhu.
Ashok will not be able to live in Kerala if the people come out. I know how to respond if women and trade union leaders are mocked for protesting democratically, he said.
Ashok is a person who should have been the chairman of a gaushala in north India. Good bulls are in great demand, scoffed Madhu. The KSEB Officers’ Association is preparing to intensify the protests, which have been continuing for several days. The protestors will besiege the Vydyuthi Bhavan on April 19.
Even though the suspension of the KSEB Officers’ Association leaders, who protested earlier, was withdrawn, the chairman had transferred them. The chairman has the complete support of the power minister as well. Even though we tried to resolve the issue through the CPM, the Power Minister K Krishnankutty said that he was not ready for any discussion.
