THANE: In a shocking incident, a youth strangled his wife to death for adding too much salt in his breakfast. The incident took place at Bhayandar in Thane, Maharashtra. The deceased has been identified as Neelima (40), wife of Nilesh Ghagh. The incident took place at around 9 30 am today.

According to sources, a quarrel had broken out between Neelima and Nilesh after the latter complained that the 'khichadi' served to him contained too much salt. Following the quarrel, Nilesh strangled his wife using a long cloth. Police have launched an investigation into the murder.
