PALAKKAD: Four people have been taken into police custody in connection with the murder of SDPI activist Subair. Tensions are high in the area where the killing happened.

Subair’s funeral will take place on Saturday evening. After the post mortem, Subair’s body is being carried by the mourners to his house in Palakkad. The funeral will take place after the body is kept for the public to pay their respects.

Subair was killed by a gang who came in a car. The SDPI had alleged that the RSS was behind the murder.

Two murders have occurred in Palakkad within the last 24 hours, shocking the district. The BJP has alleged that the SDPI is behind the murder of the RSS leader. The dead has been identified as former Sharirik Pramukh Sreenivasan. He was hacked to death by a five-member gang who arrived on three bikes. The attackers hacked him inside a shop at around 1 pm.
