PALAKKAD: Palakkad MLA Shafi Parambil said that the pathetic defeat of the police which could not do anything when political killings are destroying the peace of the state is worrying. Shafi said that the police had become useless for anything other than guarding the yellow mark and the RSS and the SDPI, the curse of the country, were destroying the peace of people. Shafi's response was via Facebook.

Shafi alleged that the police were reluctant to arrest the leadership of such organizations who ordered the killing of a man in front of his wife and father, and that this would not have happened without their knowledge.
