PALAKKAD: A Special Investigation Team (SIT) will investigate the murder of RSS leader Sreenivasan. A team led by narcotics cell DySP Anil Kumar is in charge of the investigation.

It is heard that the accused in the case are from Palakkad city and surrounding areas. The investigators have obtained the number of one of the bikes used by the accused. The number was obtained from CCTV footages. It has been found that a woman is the owner of the bike. Ten SDPI activists have been taken into preventive custody.

Sreenivasan was hacked to death by a six-member team who came in three bikes. Three of them went into the shop and committed the murder. The other three were waiting outside. The CCTV visuals of them fleeing in their bikes after the murder have surfaced.
