PALAKKAD: BJP state president K Surendran alleged that the Pinarayi Vijayan government in Kerala is providing all assistance and support to the Popular Front. The Government of Kerala supports the activities of a terrorist organization like no other state. That is why the Pinarayi government opposes the CBI's probe into the cases against the Popular Front. K Surendran told reporters that comparing the extremist terrorist organization with the RSS was for whitewashing them.
Police have failed miserably in investigating such extremist cases. Surendran said the police and the CPM were helping the accused in the murders committed by the SDPI.
No other state has the critical situation like that of Kerala. This is a threat to the whole country. There should be a nationwide protest against this. The move is to downplay the killings in Palakkad, Alappuzha and Vayalar as isolated incidents. This is the great danger facing the country. Will inform the Central Government about the critical situation in Kerala. When Union Home Minister Amit Shah arrives in Kerala on April 29, these issues will be brought to his attention.
Surendran said that all the killings by extremists in Alappuzha, Vayalar and Palakkad were unilateral. In all previous cases, the police did not attempt to arrest the culprits or expose the conspiracy. The High Court has asked CBI to investigate the murder of Sanjeet in Palakkad as it was unstaistified with state police probe. The state government took a pro-SDPI stance. The government, which opposed the CBI probe, said it had a bizarre reason to hear the arguments of the accused.
The government has taken such a stand to help the terrorists fearing that the conspiracy will come out if the CBI comes. Surendran also asked what is the meaning of having discussions with a religious terrorist organization.
