THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: An explanation was given that the error in the order issued for allocating the medical expenses to CM for his treatment in US was due to the date being recorded. The date was from January 11 to 27 but the departure date was recorded in the first order as Jan 26. According to the Public Administration Department, a new order has been prepared to rectify this.

The order issued on April 13 was cancelled on April 16 due to an error. From January 11 to 26, the Chief Minister went to the Mayo Clinic in United States for treatment. On March 30, the Chief Minister directly applied for expense allocation and an order stating the same was issued on April 13. However, it was only later that the Public Administration Department issued a new order revoking the disbursement order issued yesterday.
