SHIMLA: Hindus should give birth to more children to avoid India becoming an Islamic nation, urged priest Yati Narsinghanand Saraswati. He made the controversial statement at a meeting held by his organization Akhil Bhartiya Sant Parishad, which operates in Himachal Pradesh. Yati Saraswati’s new controversial statement came after he was released on bail in the Haridwar hate speech case. Earlier this month in Mathura, he had urged Hindus to produce more children to prevent the country from becoming Hindu-less in the coming decades. India will be made into an Islamic country like neighbouring Pakistan when Muslims are in majority, he warned.
India is a democratic country as Hindus are in majority. But the Muslims are increasing their population by giving birth to many children in a planned manner. That is why, our organization has asked Hindus to give birth to more children to avoid India becoming an Islamic nation, Yati said. He made his claims on the first day of the organization’s three-day Dharam Sansad at Mubarakpur in Himachal Pradesh.
50 per cent of Hindus will convert in 20 years if a Muslim became the prime minister of India, he said. He also called upon Hindus to take up arms to fight for their existence.
Himachal Pradesh police had issued a notice to Yati Narsinghanand asking him not to make speeches propagating religious hatred. Immediate action will be taken if he violates the order, said the police.
