THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Minister Antony Raju has directed the Transport Commissioner to take stern action against those who sticks sunfilm on vehicles.
The Central Motor Vehicle Code stipulates that safety glasses should have a minimum of 70 per cent transparency and 50 per cent transparency on the sides. The court ruled that cooling film, tinted film and black film should not be pasted on vehicle windows. The minister added that he would seek legal advice if necessary regarding the pasting of glazing plastics.
