KOCI: Actor Dileep asked the court not to give more time for further investigation in the case of attacking the actress. The actor filed an affidavit in the high court raising this demand.

Dileep told the court that the investigating officials are asking more time to fabricate fake evidence. The actor opposed the demand of the prosecution seeking more time. Dileep said the demand for a probe in connection with the letter allegedly written by Pulsar Suni cannot be accepted.

The probe team has started taking steps to question Kavya Madhavan, Anoop and Suraj. Dileep brought to the notice of the court that it was therefore unnecessary to allow three months for further investigation.

Meantime, the high court will pronounce the verdict on Dileep's plea in the case of conspiracy to kill the investigating officers in the case of attacking the actress. The verdict will be announced by a bench of Justice led by Siyad Rahman at 1.45 pm. If the case is cancelled, it will be a breather for Dileep and a setback for the investigation team.
