KABUL: Multiple blasts shook Afghanistan on Tuesday. Three explosions took place at a boys’ high school in western Kabul. Numerous people have been killed, said Afghan security officials.
The residents in the area belong to the Shia Hazara community, which is frequently targeted by Sunni terrorist groups including the ISIS. According to reports, six people including children have been killed and numerous others wounded. The death toll is likely to go up, said Khalid Zadran, police spokesperson for the Taliban in Kabul.
The blast took place at Abdul Rahim Shahid high school in the western Dasht-e-Barchi area of Kabul. So far, no organization has claimed responsibility for the attack.
