KANNUR: A home-made bomb was found hidden in a carry bag in an unoccupied house in Panur. The bomb was found by Panur police from the house of Abdul Samad around 11 a.m. on Tuesday. These were placed in bags in the shape of an ice cream ball.

Jute yarn and ammunition used to make bombs were found on the spot along with the homemade bomb. Panur police and bomb squad from Kannur conducted the inspection.
