THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: KPCC president K Sudhakaran on Tuesday said that the recent political murders have made it clear that a CPM-BJP nexus exists in the state.
"It was the CPM that nurtured the SDPI. The attitude of the CPM and the Chief Minister in promoting communalism is dangerous. Since the Pinarayi government came to power, there have been 60 political assassinations. Police protection was limited to the Chief Minister and criminals," Sudhakaran said.
"PJ Kurien's criticism and allegations against Rahul Gandhi were brought to the attention of the AICC. We have handed over the necessary information to the leadership. I talked to PJ Kurien over the phone. He said that he would meet me and give a detailed response in person. KV Thomas's accusation that I spoke rudely to him is not true. I did not utter a single bad word against him. I had requested him not to attend the CPM party congress even on the day when he was supposed to attend. However, he responded in a cold manner," Sudhakaran said.
