PALAKKAD: A woman died on the spot after fatally knocked down by a KSRTC bus which came jumping signal. The accident happened on the national highway at Kannannoor in Palakkad.

The woman dead has been identified as Chellamma of Kannadi. The bus did not stop despite hitting the housewife. The locals intervened and stopped the bus.
