KOLKATA: The problems in the Bengal BJP are getting worse. Bengal BJP vice-president Soumitra Khan demanded immediate intervention of Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP national president J P Nadda.

He said that if senior leaders did not intervene immediately, the situation of the BJP in Bengal would be worse than that of the BJP in Kerala.

‘The party and leaders in Bengal are directionless. Only those in Delhi can find a solution for it. The Trinamool Congress will not be able to do anything if we get timely help from Delhi. If we find a solution, the TMC will not be able to do anything. Among the present state leaders, Suvendu Adhikari is the only good leader the Bengal unit has at present,’ said Khan.

The BJP suffered a heavy loss in the by-elections held in West Bengal. With this, the differences between the leaders turned severe. Following this, Bengal BJP vice-president Soumitra Khan demanded intervention of central leaders.
