KANNUR: A case has been registered against a 14-year-old boy in connection with the incident of a 16-year-old girl becoming pregnant. The case was registered on the complaint lodged by her father. The complaint said that she was sexually abused in January. The complaint said the boy, who regularly visits the house, abused the girl.

The information about the pregnancy came to light when the girl sought treatment for stomach pain. The complaint said the girl did not divulge about it out of fear.
