PALAKKAD: The prohibitory orders issued in the Palakkad district in the wake of the twin murders have been extended till next Sunday. Earlier, the prohibitory order was issued till April 20. On Wednesday, the authorities decided to extend the prohibitory order for four more days.

No meetings, demonstrations or processions are allowed in public places. The gathering of five or more people in public places is prohibited. The district administration also banned male pillion riders on two-wheelers. Police inspections will be tightened in the district.
