KOCHI: Those over 75 and one person travelling with them will be given a 50% discount on metro ticket rates from today. They can avail this exemption by producing proof of age at the customer care centre at metro stations. Wheelchairs will be available at the stations for those who have difficulty walking. The elevator and escalator will function all the time.
