THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: An investigation is being held against the policeman who trampled on K Rail protesters. The incident will be investigated by the Special Branch DYSP. Thiruvananthapuram rural SP has directed for an enquiry.

Shabeer, CPO of Mangalapuram station, trampled on a protester who was protesting against K Rail. The rural SP ordered an inquiry after the incident became controversial.

There was a conflict between the protesters and the police while the locals tried to stop the laying of survey stones in Karichara, Kazhakootam. Amid the clash, one protester was trampled by a policeman. Survey officials had returned from the area following strong protests.
