KOCHI: The High Court has criticized the prosecution in the recovery of court documents from Dileep's phone related to actress assault case. The court has asked the prosecution to clarify how the media received the request to question the court staff.

Earlier, the court had said that the explanations given by the investigating officer DYSP Baiju Paulose and Crime Branch chief S Sreejith were not satisfactory.

Meanwhile, the Crime branch handed over the evidence to the trial court in a sealed envelope on the plea to cancel Dileep's bail in the case. The Crime branch alleges that Dileep violated bail conditions and influenced witnesses and destroyed evidence. So, Dileep's bail should be canceled. The petition was adjourned till April 26.
