THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A fake WhatsApp account in the name of Assembly Speaker MB Rajesh has been found. The speaker himself had informed about this on Facebook and stated that financial fraud was taking place using this account. The Speaker said that he had noticed a fake WhatsApp account number 7240676974 using his name and picture and had lodged a complaint with the DGP.

The speaker says that a message has been sent from that number saying that it is his new number and requested to save it, followed by a message asking for money. The speaker said that former minister KP Mohanan had also received such a message and informed him, it was only then he came to know about the scam.
