THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Speaking at a press conference, Opposition Leader VD Satheesan said that EP Jayarajan need not worry about the UDF.

"It is the LDF that is witnessing various problems. NCP leader PC Chacko has expressed dissatisfaction. The CITU is raising harsh criticism against minister K Krishnankutty. The CITU has also come up against ministers such as Roshy Augustine and Antony Raju. A resolution was passed against the CPI leaders in the DYFI conference. Hence, Jayarajan should first try to resolve the issues of the LDF," Satheesan said.

What is the answer to KV Thomas?

"What answer should be given to KV Thomas, who does not know the meaning or purpose of the Iftar meeting. The party has not issued any ban on the Iftar meeting. Iftar was held with party leaders. It was the party, not the Opposition Leader that hosted the meeting. What should I say to those who do not know the meaning of Iftar?," Satheesan said.

The Opposition Leader has accused the government of imposing huge liabilities on the common man by increasing bus, auto and taxi fares. He urged the government to address the deficiencies in rate hikes.
