KANNUR: CPM Pinarayi branch secretary Kakkoth Rajan has confirmed that the RSS worker, accused in the Haridas murder case, had gone into hiding at a CPM activist’s house. He had been staying in a house near Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan’s residence. He shouldn’t have got the courage to do this, Rajan said.
The party has not been embarrassed in the incident. Parakkandy Nijil Das, the accused in the murder case, was arrested from CPM activist Prashanth’s house, last day. Prashanth’s wife P M Reshma, who had helped Nijil, was also arrested.
The CPM is not involved in the bombing of Prashanth’s house following his arrest, said Rajan. It cannot be said whether there was any natural emotional outburst or not. The party has not given any instruction, he added.
