NEW DELHI: The Union Health Minister has informed that the setting up of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) for Kerala is under the active consideration of the central government, said K Muraleedharan MP. The minister responded on the matter as the issue was raised in the Lok Sabha under Rule 377.
The centre has also asked Kerala to suggest four locations for setting up AIIMS in the state, said Muraleedharan, through a Facebook post. The union minister has said that the central government’s goal is to set up AIIMS in all states as per Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY), he added.
