IDUKKI: A couple died after their house caught fire. The incident happened at Puttady in Idukki Monday morning at 2 am. The dead has been identified as Raveendran (50) and his wife Usha (45). Their daughter Shreedhanya who sustained almost 90% burns has been admitted at Kottayam Medical College Hospital.

After seeing smoke emanating from their house, their neighbours rushed to the spot and took them to Idukki Medical College hospital, but the life of the couple could not be saved. Their daughter was immediately shifted to Kottayam Medical College Hospital.
