KANNUR: Reshma lodged a complaint with the chief minister against CPM district secretary M V Jayarajan and district secretariat member Karayi Rajan for allegedly vilifying her in public for renting her house to Nijil Das, accused in the murder of K Haridas at Punnol in Thalassery.
She also demanded action against the cyber-attack on her. The complaint alleged that despite being a CPM supporter, they did not even get such consideration. Reshma also alleged that the police did not give humanitarian consideration.
She said that her and her minor daughter’s phones are in police custody. The complaint said that she suspects that the cyber attackers got the pictures and videos in the phone from the police station.
She alleged that she was detained at the station from 9 am to 10.30 pm and no consideration was given as a woman and did not even allow her to go to the toilet. M V
M V Jayarajan had said that serving food after going to the house of the accused cannot be seen innocently. The complaint said Karayi Rajan also made a similar statement. Reshma’s lawyer said defamatory statements against her should be stopped and strict legal steps will be taken if cyber-attack against her continues. Reshma who was released on bail on Saturday refused to talk to the media.
