NEW DELHI: Ranjit Bajaj, the owner of I-League club Minerva Punjab FC on Monday accused All India Football Federation (AIFF) General Secretary Kushal Das of sexually harassing employees at the workplace.
Ranjit Bajaj, who alleged that Kushal Das would start drinking from the time he arrived at the office at 10 am, added that two women employees had already filed sexual harassment complaints against Kushal Das.
He also alleged that Kushal Das and AIFF president Praful Patel managed to bury these complaints using their influence. Ranjit made the allegations through his Twitter account.
Meanwhile, the allegations against Kushal were quickly denied by AIFF. "All statements and allegations made in this regard are false and fabricated, and made without an iota of evidence in support of the same. Further, no such complaints and/or concerns were received by the Internal Complaints Committee constituted by the AIFF as per the PoSH Act, 2013," the AIFF said in a statement. The federation also said that it would take legal action against Ranjit Bajaj.
